SSD price rise | HomeKit Australia

SSD price rise

Our purchase price of Solid State Drives has increased regularly over the past months.

SSD producers have been badly hit by the chip shortage and in order top secure NAND and controller chips they have had to pay higher prices.

Next Monday, HomeKit Australia will be forced to increase the price of all Solid State Drive product.

In launching our NVMe and SATA III SSD's, we have priced our stock below our landed cost price.

However, as our factory cost continues to climb, we cannot continue to sustain even higher losses.

Initially we will increase pricing on 1TB and 2TB NVMe SSD's plus there will be a price increase on 2TB SATA III 2.5" SSD's.

The first price increase will occur on Monday 18 October.

HomeKit Australia provides FREE Express Post delivery that typically costs us over $11 or more for each delivery. Again, HomeKit cannot continue to take this loss.

Bottom line is, if you are considering Solid State Drive purchases, buy them this week or at least this month.

There are good stocks of SSD products and typically they ship the same day as you order.
