HomeKit Australia has just reduced its MagSafe iPhone 12 charger to $24.95.
Apple's MagSafe charger for their iPhone 12 series provides a full 15w charge to the iPhone, provided you are using the PD 3.0 charging standard. To achieve this you will need to be using a USB-C to USB-C cable, as without this USB-C cable your charger will never meet PD 3.0.
You must also connect the other end of your cable to a minimum 20w AC charger that also conforms and outputs per the PD 3.0 standard. HomeKit Australia's GaN chargers, from 20w to our 100w AC charger, all meet the PD 3.0 specification.
This is the only charging technology that delivers 15w fast charge to the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 12 Mini is only capable of charging at 12w. Do remember the normal maximum wireless charge for an iPhone is 7.5w from the fastest Qi chargers.
HomeKit Australia's MagSafe charger connects to USB-C so you may want to pick up our 20w USB-C GaN charger or perhaps a 65w GaN charger at the same time.
This MagSafe charger is one of the highest spec MagSafe chargers you will find and protections include foreign body detection, over temperature protection, over current protection, under voltage protection, short circuit protection, dynamic power lock, current protection, under temperature protection and Vertex Shutdown protection (VRVS).
However, our MagSafe charger will be updated in February 2021 and will revert to the normal $39.95 pricing, so here's your chance to score a MagSafe charger at $15 off.
Only original Apple MagSafe chargers will produce a full 15w charge. Other brands can only produce up to a maximum 9.5w.
